SummerSky

...Because I love the sun and the sky. It reminds me of how powerful is the Being above. Of how eminent His love is.

...It gives me relief everytime i look up. Making figures out of the clouds. Watching the sun dance

...And yes i hate rainy days

You do not know where it comes from or where it goes

Tuesday 1st April, 2008
Acts 4:32-37. The Lord is king; he is robed in majesty-Ps 91(92):1-2, 5. John 3:7-15.

‘You must be born again.’

Jesus speaks to Nicodemus of a new birth in the Spirit. The Hebrew word for ‘spirit’ means both ‘wind’ and ‘breath’. Jesus says to Nicodemus: ‘You can hear, feel and see the effects of the wind, but you do not know where it comes from’.

In the same way, we can see the effects of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those the Spirit touches. Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit that we may have power to be his witnesses and to spread and defend the gospel by word and action. The Holy Spirit gives us seven-fold gifts that we may live God’s way of life and serve in the power of his strength.

Lord, may we thirst for new life in the Spirit.
